Treating land as a thing to be bought and sold is one of the root causes of climate crisis, species extinction, and toxic inequality. To build a viable future, we need to re-join the community of life as respectful participants, not entitled exploiters.

We are restoring relationships of direct sustenance and interdependence with the land.
Separating us from direct connection with the land is one of the great harms of colonialism. We need practices of conservation that undo divisions between us and the rest of life and reconnect us with our sustaining kin.

We are challenging, transforming, and healing systems of violence and harm, so that everyone may flourish.
To care for the land, we need to care for each other. It’s all connected. Undoing white supremacy, colonialism, classism, gender violence, human supremacy, and all other forms of oppression is the foundational work of love and solidarity that heals the land and frees us all.
